Parents

Parent portal

How to invite parents, what they see in their cabinet, and how to pay an invoice in two taps with no admin sign-up.

Updated:

The parent portal gives parents access to everything that matters about their child’s learning — without having to call the school with the usual “how’s my Max doing?” questions. Administrators spend less time repeating themselves, and parents get transparency.

Inviting a parent

You can invite a parent from the student’s profile → the Parents/Guardians tab → “Invite”. Enter an email — the parent receives a message with a link and sets their own password.

One student — up to two parents. If a parent has several children at your school, they see all of them in a single cabinet after signing in. A separate account for each child isn’t needed.

What a parent sees

After signing in, the parent sees their child’s dashboard /or a child picker, if there are several) with these sections:

Schedule

Upcoming lessons: date, time, teacher, status. No editing.

Attendance

A journal of past lessons with statuses: present, late, absent. If the child starts missing lessons, the parent sees it without a single phone call.

Homework

The status of each assignment: assigned, submitted, reviewed, overdue. The parent does not see the content of the assignment or the grade — only whether it was done. If the deadline has passed and nothing has been submitted, the status is highlighted.

Lesson balance and invoices

How many lessons are left on the balance. All invoices with their statuses: paid, awaiting payment, overdue.

Payment in two taps

An unpaid invoice is shown with a “Pay” button. Tapping it opens the payment form — card, WayForPay, or LiqPay. The parent pays with no sign-up and without logging into the school’s admin panel.

The “is everything okay” banner

At the top of the dashboard there’s an aggregated signal banner. When everything is fine, it’s green and stays out of the way. When something needs attention, the banner turns yellow or red and shows:

  • An outstanding debt.
  • Two or more missed lessons in a row.
  • Overdue homework.

One glance, and the parent knows whether action is needed.

Notifications for parents

Parents can receive automatic notifications — for example, “your child missed a lesson” or “a new invoice was issued”. Notifications are configured in the [automations]//docs/avtomatyzatsii) section and arrive by email or in Telegram.

What parents do NOT see

  • The school’s internal notes about the student.
  • Other students’ data or the school’s finances.
  • Teacher rates and payroll.
  • Administrator features /changing the schedule, issuing invoices, and so on).

A parent account is strictly view-and-pay only.

Want parents to be notified automatically? Set it up in [automations]//docs/avtomatyzatsii) — there are ready-made recipes for parents there.
